BRAZIL CREATING FASHION FOR TOMORROW: A CHAIN OF WOMEN EXHIBITION

This edition of Brazil: Creating Fashion for Tomorrow, A Chain of Women is dedicated to highlighting the pivotal role of women in the fashion industry, featuring a curated selection of brands and initiatives led by talented Brazilian women. The exhibition strives to illuminate issues pertaining to women in fashion and the broader economy; highlighting the creativity, quality, and exquisite expertise demonstrated by both creators and executors.

Beyond showcasing fashion, the emphasis is on women who actively drive sustainable fashion forward, contribute to female empowerment and foster sisterhood by collaborating with fellow women, especially those in low-income communities aiming to enhance living conditions for hundreds of families.

As part of the London Fashion Week calendar, hosted by the Embassy of Brazil in London the exhibition is led and curated by Camila Villas, Lilian Pacce and Marilia Biasi. Brazil: Creating Fashion for Tomorrow shines a spotlight on Brazilian creators and innovators who are guided by socio-environmental values. It highlights the opulence of Brazil's materials, unique craftsmanship and craftspeople, and novel design processes.

Set designers for the 2024 exhibition include Helena Cebrian, Gigi Colagrossi and Luiza Chara.
